The Rome in one day of My Roman Way tour will allow you to touch the key places of the Eternal City without stress and without haste!
Our first destination will be the Colosseum, the most important place of entertainment loved by the romans … Truly so it is still today, so much indeed, that it has become its symbol!
At the exit we will walk along the remains of the Imperial Forums. We will stop to admire the remains of the Forum of Augustus and that Forum of Trajan, with the imposing column representing the battle to conquer Dacia, nowadays Romania!
Together we will take a picture with the magnificent ALTAR OF THE FATHERLAND and from there, from Venice Square, we will arrive at the Trevi Fountain …We will not miss to throw the coin into the largest fountain in Rome … It is true that it is a tourist custom, but traditions are always respected in Rome!..Besides, don’t you want to come back again ?!
Not so far, wondering around the area of Piazza Pietra, we will reach the Pantheon where we will have time for a coffee break.
The first part of the Rome in one day tour will end in Piazza Navona.
From there we will take a taxi to reach the second part: the Vatican City.
After a light lunch we will visit the Vatican Museums, the 3rd most visited one in the world.
We will roll our eyes around the statues of the Pio Clementino Museum: the Lacoon, the Apollo and the Torso del Belvedere; we will wonder around the superb Galleries of Candelabras, Tapestries and Maps.
After all this we will finally enjoy the supreme quitness of the Sistine Chapel, UNESCO heritage site twice: 1980 and 1990!
At the end there will be a visit to the pivotal fulcrum of the most widespread religion in the world: St. Peter’s Basilica with its main gems.
If all this it is not enough for you, come with us to visit the beautiful BORGHESE GALLERY, or ANCIENT OSTIA to taste the real ancient roman life, or the underground Roma with the tour ANCIENT APPIAN WAY & THE CATACOMBS.
